Kerry's role as a thought leader is widely recognized by clients and his professional colleagues who named him a Fellow of the American Society of Association Executives and Center for Association Leadership. He has built his career and reputation by taking on the toughest assignments and most engaging challenges in the not-for-profit community. He holds the highest voluntary earned designation of Certified Association Executive (CAE) and is a graduate of the United States Chamber of Commerce Institute for Organization Management (IOM). Prior to entering private practice Mr. Stackpole served as president/CEO and senior executive of four other not-for-profit organizations and foundations in custom manufacturing, electronic imaging/publishing, entrepreneurial ventures, and communications technology.
A leader in learning and innovative training models Kerry serves as a co-facilitator for the American Society of Association Executives' Future Leaders program and has also taught event management for the Continuing Studies program at Bentley College. A prolific writer and contributor on matters of strategy, leadership, and marketing for not-for-profit organizations his articles have appeared in Association Management, Associations Now, Association Trends, Executive IdeaLinks, Executive Leadership, Executive Update, Marketing FastFacts, Membership Development and numerous national and regional association publications. He is a content matter expert for Essentials of the Profession, an interactive CD-ROM based learning system produced by ASAE and the Center and the Holmes Corporation.

He earned his Master in Education in management and organization development from Antioch IOE/Cambridge College.
